Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a stunning wedding inspiration shoot at El Viento, one of the island’s most dreamy wedding venues. From sunrise portraits to fireworks under the stars, this day was pure magic—the perfect inspiration for your own Santorini wedding.
We began the day early with our couple Christoph and Mara, just before the sunrise missing all the crowds. Our couple wandered through the charming streets of Oia, framed by the famous blue domes that are synonymous with Santorini. The early morning light created a soft glow, highlighting the Mara’s sparkly gown from Morgan Davies Bridal Boutique.
The day unfolded at El Viento, a venue that blends rustic charm with luxurious sophistication. Perched on a hill with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, it provides the perfect canvas for an unforgettable wedding celebration.
The table setup was decorated with lush white flowers, gleaming gold details, and opulent chandeliers suspended above, it captured the essence of timeless elegance. The soft flicker of candlelight added warmth to the already magical setting.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we ended the day with fireworks and sparklers overlooking the sea which made for the most unforgettable moments.
The next morning, we ventured to the tranquil village of Imerovigli for an additional portrait session. The bride changed into a boho-inspired lace dress, her look perfectly suited to the laid-back elegance of this picturesque location. The couple strolled along quiet pathways and roofs.
